Construction Operations Coordinator

This person will be responsible for day to day administrative duties such as reporting, tracking, material ordering, contract administration, invoice processing and interactions with contractors and vendors.  This position will support both the Construction and Procurement Departments.

Most Important Responsibilities

  • Process material invoices and track delinquencies/cross reference corrections.
  • Complete and submit vendor material orders.
  • Create/update vendor renovation delivery schedule.
  • Assist with delivery issues/errors.
  • Process contracts, work orders and change orders.
  • Setup for contractors and vendors in current and new markets.
  • Update renovations spreadsheets regularly in SharePoint.
  • Assist with Procurement reporting, Nexus reports, rebate and warranty tracking.
  • Coordinate internal and external meetings.

Most Important Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree and/or 2-4 years of administrative experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in collecting and analyzing data.
  • Administrative construction knowledge and/or experience preferred, but not required.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite to include the ability to create/manipulate spreadsheets and PowerPoint. Knowledge of Nexus is a plus.
  • Attention to detail and proven track record of taking initiative to find solutions.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, self-prioritize, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong organizational skills and time management.
